Hotel description

Auld Post Hotel is located halfway between Edinburgh & St. Andrews. Built in 1903 to house Fife's main Post Office and refurbishment in 1996, it has been a Kirkcaldy landmark for the whole of the 20th Century. Centrally located hotel incorporating Thunder Road Bar and restaurant, as well as Kitty's Nightclub, where quality live music and in-house DJs present our regular features, making this a very lively venue, especially Thursday - Sunday. Group booking welcome. Ideally situated for golfing breaks, perfect for the complete party night out. We must advise that certain rooms are affected by noise from our bar/nightclub, which closes at 2am (Thursday - Sunday). Please contact the hotel for further information.

Reception opens Monday - Friday 7:30am to 6pm and Saturday - Sunday 8am to 12:30pm. Check-in procedure outside of these hours will be attended to in Thunder Road bar. A credit card is required as a guarantee of booking. It is company policy to take a deposit for the first night's accommodation and this will be debited to the card given, unless otherwise instructed. Bookings made over the weekend period will be confirmed on the following Monday. No pets allowed other than guide dogs.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged. If cancelled later, the first night will be charged. In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
